You fill in form SIM including a description of the property, enclose the relevant fee and the Land Registry will tell you whether your house is registered, and the title number. If it's registered, you can then prove title of ownership by obtaining an official copy of the register. This is done by sending off Form OC1 to the Land Registry, which will then send you a photocopy. |
