Frequently Asked Question - I've just accepted an offer for my property; what paperwork now needs to be prepared for the buyer?

To quicken the process of selling you need to take care of the following set of papers that should be ready for the buyer:

  • Property Information Forms
  • Fixtures, Fittings and Contents Form
  • Office Copy entries in the Land Registry registers, and a filed plan
  • Copy of lease (if leasehold)
  • Copy of any relevant Consent (to modernisation, etc.)

It's also worthwhile to get local water and environmental searches completed.
